The Green Key program reflects our commitment to protect the environment and contribute to a greener future. Green Key is a globally recognized program supported by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), which rewards the efforts of those accommodation units that aim to prevent climate change and promote the best environmental initiatives. We are firmly committed to carrying out our activity in a responsible manner and to be part of the global community that promotes sustainability.

The Green Key program aims to:

• Preventing climate changes by reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable resources
• Education of all stakeholders in the hotel industry, accommodation units, local authorities, guests and the local community
• Rewarding those accommodation units that meet the Green Key criteria
• Improving the guest experience through a cleaner environment and our reputation
• Attracting that environmentally conscious public

Sustainability is no longer an option for us, due to the continuous increase in the number of guests, which forces us to become more responsible, using our resources efficiently, protecting the environment and the cultural and historical heritage of Bucharest.

We are proud to be part of the Green Key program, in collaboration with the Carpato-Danubian Center for Geo-Ecology (CCDG), the only institution accredited to evaluate the tourism units according to the international Green Key criteria in Romania. Suntem mandri sa impartasim cu dumneavoastra bucuria obtinerii certificarii Green Key, un simbol international de excelenta in promovarea turismului sustenabil. Programul Green Key reflecta angajamentul nostru de a proteja mediul inconjurator si de a contribui la un viitor mai verde. Green Key este un program recunoscut la nivel mondial si sprijinit de Organizatia Mondiala a Turismului (UNWTO) si Programul Natiunilor Unite pentryu Mediul Inconjurator (UNEP), prin care sunt recompensate eforturile acelor unitati de cazare care isi propun sa previna schimbarile climatice si promoveaza cele mai bune initiative de mediu. Ne-am angajat ferm sa ne desfasuram activitatea intr-un mod responsabil si sa facem parte din comuntatea globala ce promoveaza sustenabilitatea.

Programul Green Key urmareste:

• Prevenirea schimbarilor climatice prin reducerea emisiilor de carbon si promovarea resurselor regenerabile
• Educarea actorilor implicati in industria hoteliera – unitati de cazare, autoritati locale, oaspeti si comunitate locala
• Premierea unitatilor de cazarea ce indeplinesc criteriile Green Key
• Imbunatatirea exeperientei oaspetilor si a reputatiei unitatii de cazare
• Atragerea acelui public constient de importanta protejarii mediului inconjurator

 Sustenabilitatea nu mai reprezinta de mult o optiune pentru noi, datorita cresterii continue a numarului de oaspeti, ceea ce ne obliga sa devenim mai responsabili, sa utilizam cat mai eficient resursele, si sa protejam mediul inconjurator si patrimonial cultural si istoric al Bucurestiului.

Suntem mandri sa fim parte a programulul Green Key, in colaborare cu Centrul Carpato Danubian de Geoecologie (CCDG), singura institutie acreditata sa evalueze unitatile de turism conform criteriilor  internationale Green Key in Romania. Ramada Plaza Bucharest Convention Center se angajeaza sa fie un jucator important in sustenabilitate in industria hoteliera din Bucuresti.
